I will be working in the Persistence and Capacity Management(PACMAN) Team under Supply Chain Optimization Technologies(SCOT) for the next 11 weeks to contribute to the new capacity accounting system for the fulfillment system of Amazon.

The Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) manages inventory under uncertainty of demand, pricing, promotions, supply, vendor lead times, and product life cycle. SCOT optimize tradeoffs among customer promise, Fast Track in-stock, sourcing cost, transportation cost, holding cost, inventory obsolescence, FC capacity, and FC location. In addition, SCOT automates and optimizes Amazon’s global supply chain for physical goods.
